Skip the trip and have your favourite flower, vapes, or edibles brought straight to your door. In Sarnia, legal cannabis delivery is one of the most convenient ways to stock up, but there are strict provincial and municipal rules that govern how, when, and where it can be done.
Whether you’re ordering from home near Canatara Park, busy with a shift, or just relaxing on the weekend, here is everything you need to know about getting legal same-day weed delivery in Sarnia through Your Highness Cannabis.
1. Is Cannabis Delivery Legal in Sarnia?
Yes, absolutely. Under regulations from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), licensed retail cannabis stores can legally deliver cannabis directly to customers.
However, unlike third-party apps that deliver restaurant meals, legal cannabis can only be delivered by direct, registered employees of a licensed retail store. Third-party courier services (like traditional gig-economy apps) are not permitted to deliver cannabis in Ontario. This ensures that every order is handled securely by trained staff who verify age and compliance at the door.
2. Who Can Order Cannabis Delivery in Sarnia?
To receive a legal cannabis delivery in Ontario, you must meet the following criteria:
Age Limit: You must be 19 years of age or older.
ID Requirements: The person who placed the order must be present to receive it. You must show a valid, government-issued photo ID (such as an Ontario Driver’s Licence, Ontario Photo Card, or Passport) so the delivery driver can visually verify your age and identity.
Payment Card Verification: To prevent fraud, you may be asked to show the physical credit or debit card used to make the purchase, alongside your matching ID.
Sobriety: Drivers are legally prohibited from handing over cannabis to anyone who appears visibly intoxicated.
3. What are the Permitted Delivery Hours?
By provincial law, legal cannabis delivery can only take place between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM, seven days a week.
At Your Highness Cannabis, we coordinate our delivery schedules around these hours, offering convenient afternoon and evening windows to suit your schedule. Be sure to check our online menu to see current cut-off times for same-day delivery—if you order after the final cut-off, your delivery will be securely scheduled for the following morning.
4. Sarnia Delivery Rules & Drop-Off Locations
To keep delivery safe, legal, and compliant, there are strict rules on where drop-offs can happen:
Allowed Drop-Off Locations:
Private Residences: Deliveries can be made to houses, townhomes, apartments, and condos. If you live in an apartment or condo, please let us know in the delivery notes if we should meet you in the lobby or bring the order to your door.
Temporary Private Accommodations: Registered guests at local hotels, motels, or Airbnbs can receive deliveries, provided they meet the driver at the main entrance or lobby with their 19+ ID.
Strictly Prohibited Locations:
Public Places: We cannot deliver to parks (like Canatara or Centennial), beaches, parking lots, or street corners.
Protected Areas: Deliveries cannot be made to schools, daycares, or community centers.
Over the Border: We do not deliver to the Blue Water Bridge or any border-crossing areas.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can someone else accept my cannabis delivery for me?
Under AGCO regulations, the order must be received by someone 19 or older. To prevent fraud, we strongly prefer that the person who placed the order (and whose name is on the payment card) is there to sign for it. If a family member or roommate also 19+ needs to accept it, please specify this in the order notes so our team can coordinate safely.
Is the delivery package discreet?
Yes. All deliveries are packaged discreetly in unmarked, plain bags or boxes, and our delivery team maintains a professional, low-profile presence.
